Trogir

Trogir

Small and lovely town which is situated within medieval walls and is surrounded with beautifully maintained cathedrals. Trogir is known for its teeming collection of Renaissance as well as Romanesque architecture, which thrived under Venetian rule. Trogir is on a small island connected to the mainland by a bridge and also to the island of Čiovo. A warren maze of beautiful streets lead out onto a promenade lined with bars, cafes and boats. The Cathedral of St. Lawrence is one of the top attractions in Trogir where you can climb the bell tower for views over the town. Trogir is a great place to go sailing. You can easily hire a boat or a yacht to explore the beauty of nearby islands such as Šolta, Čiovo and Brač.
