The area of Rogaška Slatina was already know by Celts and Romans, which is proven by the excavations and the Roman road, which led past Lemberg and Rogatec from Celeia to Petovium. Rogaška Slatina is a town in eastern Slovenia, known as place of glass production and the unique mineral water Donat Mg.

Rogaška Slatina is famous for being the biggest and most known healing centre in Slovenia and around the world. Unspoilt nature is rich with green forests, meadows and orchards. There are many endangered animal and plant species in this area, as well as the golden Slovenia Green Destination mark, which confirms the destination orientation in sustainable development of tourism.
