Korčula, described as “little Dubrovnik”, picture perfect, the crown jewel of the Adriatic and the Emerald isle, Korčula is a true example of the natural beauty that the country of Croatia boasts. Greeks brought grapes and their knowledge for producing delicious wine and the Venetian’s skilled artisans carved architectural triumphs, which can still be seen around Korčula Old Town.
The Town’s streets are laid out in a fishbone pattern, providing the inhabitants with safety and comfort. The fortified Korčula also holds the secrets of the world’s most famous traveller, Marco Polo.
